Darron founded the Practice in 2002, based on a simple philosophy
Darron specialises in wealth creation and protection strategies, particularly when advice regarding investment portfolios, advanced tax planning and Inheritance Tax (IHT) mitigation is required or is necessary.
Darron's work with Charities and Trustees goes back many years and at times has merged into his life outside of work. Darron recently celebrated 25 years as a trusted financial consultant and celebrates 15 years association with St. James's Place in 2017. Outside of work Darron enjoys writing and has authored a number of books, one of which is award winning. His latest book is 'The Last Baronets'

Tara has been with the Practice since the early years of its inception after working as a Personal Assistant in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Tara is a senior member of the Team and manages the Practice's back office and support systems, with a responsibility for all areas of Business Operations.
Outside of work, "Elliot" the dog, "Head of Security" takes up a lot of Tara's free time.
In addition, Tara enjoys travelling and experiencing new places.
And yes, Tara is married to the boss, although he would say it's the other way around.
Alice joined the Practice in 2013 and is the manager of the Client Experience Unit (CEU) with the responsibility for all aspects of the Practice’s bespoke Client Relationship Management Programme.
Alice oversees management and appointment making for the Practice and is usually the first point of contact for new and existing clients.
Alice has achieved her St. James’s Place Practice Manager accreditation at Silver level, she wishes to further develop her knowledge and achieve a Platinum level accreditation.
Outside of work, Alice enjoys socialising, travelling and Theatre, which is not surprising as Alice has a BA honours degrees in Drama, awarded by the Bishops Grosseteste University of Lincoln.
Isabella joined the Practice in October 2014 and achieved a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration.
Issie has participated on two of the charity Fund raising walks with the Practice Team, one in 2016 and the other in 2018.
Issie has achieved her Silver level accreditation and is working toward becoming a fully accredited Paraplanner within the Practice.
Additionally, Issie works closely with Darron and Lottie.
Outside of work, Issie is interested in all things equestrian, is an accomplished horse rider and loves to explore the outdoors with her pooch, "Poppy".
Lottie joined the Practice in September 2016 from the creative technology industry after attaining her Batchelor of Science degree in Games Technology awarded by the University of Bolton.
Lottie originally completed her first work experience at the Practice back in 2010. She works alongside Issie and Darron on a day to day basis.
Lottie is a Silver level accredited St. James's Place Practice Support Specialist and hopes to become a fully accredited Technical Consultant within the Practice.
Outside of work, Lottie has a passion for all things technological and gaming, as told from her retro gaming collection. Lottie is often tinkering with new software so she is continuously developing her current skills with technology.
Paisley is the newest member of the Darron Childs Practice team and is working closely with Alice and Tara.
Since joining, she has worked hard on becoming a Bronze level accredited St. James's Place Practice Support Specialist team member.
Paisley previously studied business and is keen to progress within the Practice.
Outside of work, Paisley enjoys family time with her two children and loves everything outdoors from running to mountain biking.
